LEVIN Sauvignon Blanc 2004

This zippy and charming 2004 Sauvignon provides a pure expression of healthy Loire fruit and supportive soil deriving attributes in its structure. The bouquet displays a multi-layered array of pure citrus fruits of lemon and pink grapefruit entwined with subtle hints of pineapple, passion fruit and blackberry bud.

A teasing herbaceous lift envelops with jasmine tea and cut fennel which is enhanced by the terroir driven flinty minerality. On the palate the wine continues with mouthwatering acidity and a creamy mid-palate texture which persists to a balanced lingering fruity finish.

LEVIN Rose 2004

The cherry pink and candied apple rose colour looks every bit as fun as it tastes bringing instant thoughts of bright red berries and aromas which are all there in the glass. Fragrant strawberry and cool cherry notes are enhanced by the underlying red apple and crunchy cranberry fruit spectrum. A subtle mineral edge provides oodles of lingering light red fruit flavour persistence with clean crisp acidity which refreshes the palate.

Levin Gamay 2004

This youthful bright purple Gamay holds pure Loire Valley expression in not just its colour but continuing in its aromas and taste. Pronounced blackberry and plum fruits are steered with regional aromatics of forest woods and subtle sweet herbal spice. A fine chocolate powder and obscure nori and soy character underlies the varietal fruit expression. Lean and refined on the palate the structure is light, clean and provides a tidy finish.
